Event Description

PCWA’s will make Middle Fork American River recreational releases of 1,000 cfs from Oxbow Reservoir on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this summer. This year is classified as a “Critical Dry” year according to their FERC license.

PCWA has scheduled early releases from Oxbow in 2021 on the following days:

Monday, May 31;

Saturday, June 26th

Sunday, July 24th

Other possible dates yet to be scheduled may include a weekend day in August and Labor Day weekend.​
