Event Description

The Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) invites you to tune in for a special virtual Odor Workshop at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20^th to discuss odors and other operational issues of importance to local residents. AEL is concerned that the County has approved a private development project within the 1.5 mile wide former “smell-buffer” and committed $19 million tax dollars to mitigate odor for the development which will expose 6,000 households to potentially hazardous airborne particulates and persistent noxious odor.
