We have rescheduled!
Looking for a way to help keep Lake Tahoe clean, pristine, and litter free?
Our Tahoe-based SNAP members have assembled our Clean in a SNAP Tahoe Blue Crew to help clean up around the Jewel of the Sierra. The first cleanup is scheduled for March 23 from 10-11 am, and we invite you to join us!
Every volunteer must sign a waiver, which can be completed online for your convenience. Select the crew name “Clean in a SNAP” from the drop-down menu when filling it out. Find the waiver here .
The clean-up will occur at Spooner Summit Snow Play Area, at the intersection of highways 28 and 50 in Nevada. This is a popular sled hill where trash is often left behind.
What to bring: Gloves, water bottle, litter picker, sturdy shoes, and warm layers. Cleanup supplies will be available to use for those who need them.
Participating in this cleanup will add you to the Sierra Nevada Alliance email audience. You can opt out at any time.
