Event Description

Are you a 10th-12th grader in the Yuba Watershed who has a passion for the outdoors and climate action (or know someone who fits the bill?) Want to experience an ALL EXPENSES PAID immersive environmental science and leadership opportunity?

Check out SYRCL’s Youth and Outdoor Leadership Opportunity (YOLO), a fully-funded, week-long summer science expedition, where we take selected students to study meadows in the gorgeous Sierra Foothills alongside real scientists and their teammates.

Conduct hands-on fields work, working to answer some of California’s most pressing environmental questions, while connecting over hikes, dinners and team-building activities and discussions. Interested in applying or want more info? Visit SYRCL’s YOLO Website for more info and an application. Applications are due on June 12. https://yubariver.org/our-work/river-education/youth-outdoor-leadership-opportunity-yolo/

Informational webinar: June 3 – https://www.facebook.com/events/2628662510706351/
