(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /var/www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114Join us for a good day of hard work in the Sierra on Wednesday, July 10th from 9am-1pm. We’re gathering a team of hardworking volunteers to help restore native plant habitats and pull mullein weeds on this beautiful property north of Mono Lake in Lee Vining. This property is owned and managed by Mono County, and monitored by ESLT.
Meet at Mono Basin Visitor Center at 1 Visitor Center Drive, Lee Vining, CA 93541 at 9am, carpool together to Conway Ranch.
Bring: water, sunscreen, SPF clothing, gloves, and lunch/snacks. ESLT can provide gloves if needed, please inquire. Set within the awe-inspiring terrain of Mono County, Conway Ranch serves as a prime example of the region’s varied wildlife and land management practices.
We’ll explore the ranch and gain insights into the tools and strategies ESLT employs to uphold the conservation values in our projects, and explore how well-managed grazing contributes to the ecosystem’s health, offering numerous co-benefits including protecting habitat for the Bi-State sage grouse.
We invite all who are interested to join us in this incredible volunteer opportunity. Discover and learn about the positive impact of responsible stewardship at Conway Ranch!
Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, SPF clothing, good footwear for walking and snacks.
