Event Description

Join CEAF and our coalition partners for a virtual community meeting to learn about the potential impacts of the re-opening of the Idaho-Maryland Mine.

Our special guest speaker for this session is respiratory therapist, Pam Heard, who will be doing a special presentation on potential air quality and public health concerns connected to re-opening the Mine.

In this session, you’ll learn more about:
• Why our community can’t afford to make air quality worse
• Potential exposures and public health hazards including asbestos, silica, diesel exhaust, and radon
• The latest updates on what is next in the approval process
