Event Description

Elderberry Farms is located at 2140 Chase Drive in Rancho Cordova, on the American River Parkway at Soil Born Farms. We meet from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you would like to join us, please stop by! No sign-up is needed.

Note the following procedures:

1.         Soil Born Farms’ long-awaited construction on an entrance road and parking lot has begun. During every Mini Workday through the end of the year, please park near the nursery, in the overflow area of the soccer field, or across the street in the Hagan Park parking lot. Please do not block access to Soil Born Farms’ farm equipment.

2.         Our goal is to make everyone feel safe and comfortable. Per current guidelines, masks are encouraged while on the Soil Born Farms property but are not required unless you are unvaccinated. If you have not received your vaccine, we are asking you to wear a mask while on the Soil Born Farms property. Social distancing is also encouraged throughout the property, and everyone is required to wear a mask while in the nursery’s office. (As of March 2022)

Our Demonstration Gardens maintenance days, usually held on Wednesdays, are on hold while we work on a redesign of the gardens.
