Hello fellow environmentalists,

We have a new opportunity with the City of Auburn to shape it into a model sustainable city in Placer County.

The City of Auburn is updating its General Plan, the State-mandated document that guides how and where the city will grow over the next 20 years. The Plan addresses quality-of-life issues that impact all of us—including traffic, jobs, housing, environmental quality, resilience, disaster preparedness, and public services. All these topics can be addressed with sustainability measures from the start (not just an EIR later!)– we just need to bring the values to the table!

Mayor for a Day! Workshop

What would you do if you could be mayor for a day? Join us for an immersive evening of engaging activities. Collaborate with neighbors, friends, colleagues and City Staff. Set long-term priorities and create a vision for Auburn in 2045.

In-Person: February 22, 2024 | 6-8pm | Auburn Lions Host Building, Gold Country Fairgrounds
